Maybe you should start with walking on a treadmill. Eventually you can try picking up speed on the treadmill and then maybe sooner or later you will be able to do stunts like OK Go did with their music video from last year, or not its your choice. =)

BTW, catching a grammatical/spelling blunders on Y!A doesn't make you tremendous sensible, basically observant. Misspelling pass with the territory the following. What are you're takes on hour surrent situations the following in words of speeling and grammaticalee incorrect responses??(O-M-G!! I makes missteaks on mine sentenses)

My physical therapist always told me to put my feet on the outside edges, then start the machine, and THEN move my feet to the actual moving part...but yeah, I almost fell a few times myself...I'm just klutzy like that...maybe we should both just stick to walking on sidewalks for now... :)

try the elliptical trainer , It's much easier on the joints , I used to run on the tredmill and tried it once and was amazed by the ease of a better workout and the lack of stress on my knees
