whats a good idea for a senior project. i have to do something to do with the community such as organizing a group or rasing money. i want to raise money for make a wish or something like that but i don't know how any suggestions

If you want to do something for Make a Wish I think you have to contact them for guidelines.........as far as fund raising you could do silence auctions after you get donated items, do some type of teacher/student game (basketball, volley ball) where everyone has to pay to play and donate to watch, you could also do some kind of talent show again raising money by charging or if you where trying to help a soup kitchen or something everyone could bring a bag of food.........if you have a school radio station you could do an all request day or something that students could pay for dedications, ect. If you have the space just have people bring in their deposit bottles......hope this helps spark an idea!! Good luck!!

Bake sales are always popular. Try having a school bake sale and ask different people who want to help with the project to bring items to sell. You could have a sign up that says, "All proceeds will be donated to The Make a Wish Foundation." Advertise the sale in the school newspaper and on the announcements.

I saw a program on tv—they collected pennies and earned enough to make a donation for water wells in other countries like Africa or India. Maybe you can do something like that?
Our animal friends could use some help too. I'm sure the same idea can be use to help them. Maybe to help rebuild lost habitats.
This sounds overwhelming, but if you speak loud enough you will be heard! Think of all those pennies not being used.

Why dont you hold a senior carwash?
That always works.
Make a couple of posters advertising, and get everyone involved.
Then send the raised funds to a charity organization.

Raise money for people in Africa. You can donate to Doctors Without Borders. You can have a basketball game(s) with students versus teachers. You could charge 4 dollars to play and 5 dollars to come and watch.

How about setting up a card table and selling chocolate bars? People love chocolate. Then give the money to a charity of your choice.

Can you find something in your community that needs doing? For example in our community kids go around and collect litter, and get pledges from local merchants of dollars per bag of trash collected.
