If its not the joints, then you need a new radiator, sorry. Temporary 'fix' turn off both valves, one at each end of the Rad.
If its the joints....which? the joint valve to rad is a cone joint, valve to pipework is a compression joint. In the first instance, try tightening the joints when the rad is hot (the joints will be expanded) If this fails, and it is the 'cone' joint, drain down the rad, open the joint , ensure both the male and female sections are clean (scouring pad) , smear some Fernox LS-X Leak Sealer (from DIY Store) on the mating areas, remake the joint, allow an hour or two. If its the compression joint, drain the system, open the joint, you will see a ring (called an olive) on the pipe, wrap this in PTFE Tape(DIY Store), remake the joint, refil your system, remember, you MUST add inhibitor to your header tank.
If disaster has struck, and its the radiator itself, the only 'cure' is to replace the radiator. Isolate the rad, drain the rad, remove.Very easy, get new rad, should come with 'tails' (chrome connectors at the bottom) and a bleed valve at the top. As I do not like failures, remove the tails (big 'allen key' type tool, DIY Store) Remove the 'tails', wrap the threads with PTFE Tape, replace. Similarly, the bleed valve assembly. Install the rad, ensuring the males & females of the tails are clean(as above) open the valves, bleed, check for leaks. Note that the 'lockshield valve' ...the one which you dont turn by adjusting the knob, shold only be open about 1 turn. See how it goes, if rad does not get hot enough, then open a touch more, but do not 'starve' the other rads. All ok, now....... down pub for beer, mines a pint

If it's leaking at a joint, try tightening it up, remember, you can turn it off by tightening the knobs at each end, you may need a pliers or wrench for this, then call a professional!
Oh! if its a CAR radiator, get it running then break an egg into the radiator filler hole replace the cap and go for a run! this will work!
