I watch because she's usually pretty good, Dr Oz, etc, you can actually learn alot, but the past 3 shows, her guests just GUSHED over her. the Spanx girl just wouldn't shut the f up about how GREAT O is. Also, is in necessary for oprah to drape herself in diamonds on DAYTIME TV?

I doubt if she's paying them but they suck up to her because of her influence over just about everything..........Rachael Ray or Rae (the obnoxious cook) sucked up so Oprah got Rachael her own show..........She has tons of influence everywhere and I think she's a really good person BUT..........I'm tired of her flaunting her wealth, as you say draped in diamonds, she goes here and drives this and bought that, etc., etc..........I think Dr. Phil (the Bozo) got his own show because of all his appearances on Oprah's shows..............
Oprah has done so many good things for so many people all over the world and for that much of it I think she's great........For everything else her constant flaunting of her material possessions has turned me off to a very large extent........GREAT question!!!!!............CAT

She not only flaunts her riches she brags about them. If she is a humanitarian why does she keep bragging about how many houses she has when there are so many homeless, it is alright she has them but she don't have to brag about them. When she was on the road trip with Gail I thought she was so immature about one of the hotels saying she could not stand the smell if she was as poor as she says she was I think she could have sucked it up and stayed the night. Another thing I don't like about her is she is always asking her audience to give her money for her causes let her buy less jewelry and fund her own causes. If she thinks American kids are to material doesn't she add to that by being a material example? She is the one having her favorite things show and talking about how she can't live without those expensive things I guess some of those kids have been watching her. Why does money change people into people you don't like anymore.

Some peeps have a problemo, don't want it shown on tv, so they go to Oprah, as a guest. Plus, O gave a whole thousands of cars to the guests once. And nice cars too.

she is a humanitarian as annoying as she 'can ' be at times I think she is wonderful ,she spends her own money on a tremendous amount of great causes.more entertainers should share their wealth.I have nothing bad to say about her.......her efforts in Africa..her homeland will in the future reflect on the future of many including those in usa.education will have a huge impact on war abuse etc. someone has to take a stand and she is able to ..not that others don't deserve,and there are many more entertainers who could step up to the plate....I appaude her....

she has 2. she is so on my nerves with her b.s. i honestly think the school in africa was the last straw for me. not that it is not wonderful to start a school. here is my thinking.what about all these poor unlucky kids in the usa who could use some help ms.winfrey............
