Don't eat more than you normally do. You only need 200 extra calories when you are pregnant. That is only 1 more snack per day.
Put your feet up whenever possibly to help with swelling.
Wait to buy some maternity pants until you actually need the. You won't know what will be the most comfortable for you at the end when you can no longer see your feet.
Speaking of feet, learn to tie your shoes sideways.
Try to get the baby's room ready in the 2nd trimester. You will have the most energy then.
Get your hospital bag ready early. Put make-up in your hospital bag.....trust me on this one. everyone who comes to that hospital is going to have a camera.
Maternity underpants can be avoided by buying low cut bikini's. They are more comfortable anyway.
Light exercises all throughout your pregnancy does NOT make labor easier. But it will make the weight gain less and it comes off faster.
You may not believe this in your 9th month......but you will miss being pregnant. enjoy it while it lasts.........good luck!
