Ok, I'm not going to say that i understand what you went and are going through because I didn't go through this. But what i am going to say is that you are NOT alone. You are still as every bit a special as the day you were born and you will find someone that WILL love you incredibly. But first you need to start healing yourself by not being so hard on yourself. Like the other responses, try turning to some family members if you can. Sometimes this is hard so try close friends. Try and face this situation and take it down to size. Work at it a little bit at a time not all in one go because that is too overwhelming. Don't be afraid to feel your emotions. And remember to work with your situation in the present, how it makes you feel now rather than in the past. Babe, you have support from us as much as we can give. Yes i also know it's harder said than done but you owe it to yourself and no one else.

I really feel for you,as a survivor of abuse in the family, I know how difficult it is to try and move on after such a violation.People dont realise the long term effects this can have on your self image and self esteem. What you have to keep telling yourself is that you are the innocent one, and although the past cant be changed, unfortunately, you are now in control and the future will be brighter. As hard as it is, you have to let go of the anger, believe me, negative emotions can eat away at you and make you physically ill, aswell as emotionally.Dont let this happen.Time is a great healer, and although the memories never totally go away,it really will become easier to handle the feelings.Start to focus on your good qualities and dont put yourself down. When you get feelings of anger(which are totally normal),try to let them go and concentrate on building a happy future, knowing that never again will you have to suffer the hurt that youve gone through.Dont let the person who did this ruin your life anymore, they are not worth the energy.I wish you lots of luck for the future.

You are obviously a very brave person to have got this far. Maybe you could join an abuse survivors support group rather than just seeing a doc. This may sound bizarre to you but getting involved in some sort of voluntary work in your community might help. I used to feel useless and depressed but since volunteering I have regained my self worth, its so rewarding. Sometimes helping others can help you too. Hope you feel better soon.

Im so sorry you have had to go through this.

You need to talk to a couseller once a week, get your GP to refer, or you can have a look and refer yourself.

Do you have some family or friends who you can turn to for support? Use them if you can as they are a very good source of support.

You do need the counselling so you can be taught how to move on and learn how to love yourself again and deal with your emotions. Please seek it.

Good luck.

Couldn't you get away? Kick his balls? Bite him?
If you didn't then just you have learn to live with those memories.
