It was around then my son started to eat them. If you're unsure, try those puffs first, that dissolve easily in the mouth. They are found by the bab food section, with the graduates.

You can give plain Cheerios (NOT Honey Nut) when the baby starts making the chewing motion or at 6 months, whichever is later. Contrary to popular belief, the baby doesn't actually need teeth. The Cheerios get mushy and he can kind of gum them.

My baby girl is 7 1/2 months old and has no teeth. She hates commercial baby food, so I make my own organically. I bought some organic Cheerios for her the other day, and she eats them fine. I bit hem in half at first, but she does fine without it.

Make sure your baby is moving the cheerios to the side of the mouth and making chewing motions. If not, she/he isn't ready for them.

cheerios gave my kids stomach aches and then I tried them and I got stomach aches. Why is everyone so gaga over forcing their kids to eat this kind of finger food.? Try something organic from a good store if you do this and why rush it?Early foods should be moist and easy to swallow. I never did the cheerios thing and I am glad. many of the grocery store foods have so many additives and sugar and salt they are not so good for the kids at all, not to mention the hyperness they cause.

I would wait until your child has teeth, just to be on the safe side to avoid choking

todays world babies want to eat what you eat, believe me i got 3 of my own and they really eat but they stay active too. be a mom you know best. no one can tell you what to do cause inside your already doing it, but i've found that a good movie at 2am with the baby is good for the soul and your sleep time too.
