I find reading and doing cross word puzzles helps to keep my mind sharp. I also like getting into friendly debates on a wide variety of subjects. Very stimulating!

I feel really high when I have made something that works - even a choice. I sometimes write music and I love finishing something and thinking WOW I did that. When it is finished, a poem or a painting or anything like that suddenly seems independent. It belongs to itself. Being with a friend you like is exciting too especially if it is a woman (well I am a m.). Your mind is buzzing afterwards. No it may not be totally intellectual but it isn't just all hormones either (especially at 63). I used to be a scientist and breakthroughs were good too. I would feel high, even euphoric, for hours and still quite excited for days.

In the end these are all things where you have tried something, have extended yourself and you feel you have moved forwards. Issasif a new part of your brain has just clicked on. You feel so full of life afterwards.

I like learning about physical anomalies in humans, such as conjoined twins, hermaphrodites and chimeras. Is that specific enough? I also like Weird New The guys occasionally have a show called "Weird US" on the History Channel. I find these things fascinating because they challenge rules, norms and mores.

Playing a musical instrument and trying to compose stimulates me intellectually. Also discussing philosophical issues with people that are smarter then me is very interesting.

Talking to a group of women or any you can find around (outside, adults and older) will get you stimulated very fast, your reactioms will be quicker the next time you talk and you'll find a whole complex world to the manner of speech.

Reading. When I read a book which challenges me intellectually, whose author uses words I don't fully understand. This forces me to look in the dictionary!
