I am looking for who you think are the best female singers or groups in all musical genres.

There have been so many great female singers, I'm not sure where to begin. In no particular order, Cher, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield , Olivia Newton John, Grace Slick, Stevie Nicks, The Supremes, The Shirelles, The Shangri-las, Dinah Washington, Della Reese Aretha Franklin in rock and soul. For country artists, I would go with Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette,etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting some but these artists could hold their own against any others.
