Lemme get this straight, you deleted it and didnt properly uninstall it! Dont do that if you want to remove a program! Use add remove in control panel! If you keep that up, you will be takin your PC to a shop! If you deleted it, open the recycle bin and find it and restore it! I would bet that this is what you did because internet explore isnt in add remove unless you downloaded the latest version. Its the ONLY version that has an uninstaller! Once you get it restored, if you downloaded IE7, use add remove in control panel to uninstall it properly! This will automatically set it back to IE6.

while you're minus an Internet Browser, and since Internet Explorer is kinda crap anyway, you can download the just as free & vastly superior (and safer) FIREFOX browser here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ - 5.7MB download
While Internet Exploder (as some people use to refer to Internet Explorer) can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx - 14.8MB download
Also there is a browser called OPERA (also vastly superior to IE), which can be found here: www.opera.com/download/
Made by the same people who do the browser for Nintendo's DS + Wii consoles
Just download the installation files, stick them on either a USB Flashdrive or CD (if available), and install from there

Try doing a system restore to a point before you uninstalled IE. Otherwise install an alternative browser like Firefox. you'll need a cd to do a repair.

Download the exe file from Microsoft and save it on the desktop of the computer you are on. Burn it to a CD. Put the CD in your PC and run the setup exe - it will install just fine.

I recommend you to do this.
Since you have access to another computer, go to microsoft.com and re-download Internet explorer. Then save to a Floppy, CD, or flash drive, and plug/boot that in your computer and run it. It should copy over existing files and re-install normally.
Reboot computer and your done.
I highly recommend Firefox.
Do the same if your going to opt with Firefox. www.mozillla.com
