I am a single mom, but I make my kids a big breakfast (if there is a snow day), or a big dinner if there is not... and I give them each a heart box of chocolates and cut a heart out of paper and adher to the box that says, "happy valentines day" I love you! I've done this since the kids were very young, and it doesn't matter if I am with someone or not..I never forgot that my kids are my most important valentines!....they are now older teenagers.........and I am still doing it..........p.s. they still look foreward to that red heart shaped box each and every valentines day.....................still look foreward to easter too, . the brightly colored wrappings on the easter baskets, sitting ever so silently on the dressers, awaiting easter morning, "older kids" tearing apart the wrapping to get the treats inside, just like it has been for nearly half of my lifetime......... after all, we are all kids inside, .....long live the easter bunny!!!...........!

In my world, it's called International Quirkyalone Day. Relationships? Been there, done that. I have no desire to go back to the other side.
