I don't think it was just white people who didn't want to hire them. White people aren't the only people who hire employees. We don't have affirmative action to hire people with odd names. We have it so minorities have a chance (whole different story though) I don't understand why people name their kids with odd names like Pilot Inspeckor. It's not nice to do that to your kid, with kids being mean. Names like Shaniqua and Keisha are very common though.

I think people should name their children more carefully than giving them made up or ghetto names... I know a girl who is named after Mexican liquor... then there are the Champagnes and Passions and... God, even a boy named Hymen! I can understand cultural names, but made up and hard to pronounce names? My name is Stephanie, its kind of bland, not spectacular, but its easy to pronounce ... I don't think people should be discriminated against because of their names... but a persons name says something about their background and to an extent even their personality (numerology)

Why does productivity and efficiency go down when affirmative action is used to artificially place blacks in top positions?
IE... U.S. postal service for one! And the list goes on and on!

I have yet to meet an intelligent, well spoken, non-working class Keisha.

I've seen that, but I still can't believe that people would do that.
