OK so it's 450 miles driving. But that's not the real story . The real story is that almost all of it is on high speed two lane roads through some of the emptiest real estate in America. In many areas cellphones will not work, hospitals don't exist and you are pretty much on your own.
Having said that it's a great drive just watch your speed .

410 miles or about 380 nautical miles. Take U.S. 95 north to the Shutrz junction and turn left to Yerrington. It's a long 7 hour trip by car. One hour by air to Reno and a 30 minute drive south from there.
It's a 75mph speed limit most of the way and unless you're light footed you can make it in 7 hours as I have many many times. In fact I made Vegas to Reno (440 miles) in 6 1/2 hours once. Of cource I had to average around 75 mph to do that which meant I was at times flying along at 100.

As others have stated that's approximately 450 miles and takes 6 to 6.5 hours to rigidity. you may continually locate flights from Reno to Las Vegas for $a hundred twenty five-$a hundred seventy five. The flight is basically a million hour and quarter-hour.
