I've been sucked in to that tv show, ever since accidentally stumbling upon it during the extended Thanksgiving weekend. I'm still hooked. I don't identify with these women, but i find their lifestyles and their priorities to be very amusing. Even though many were born/raised elsewhere, they typify that close-minded, myopic mentality that one would expect from a gated community such as Coto. I was a bit shocked though, to hear that one blond workaholic (with the pugs at home) make some stereotypical and derogatory remarks about Chinese surnames. I guess since I live in Hawai'i and I am accustomed to cultural sensitivity and respect for other cultures and traditions, it was a bit distressing to hear her comments on the client's last name. Anyways, the Real Housewives is like anthropology... And yes, Jo is an immature, self-centered drama queen, but then again Slade Smiley is a slimey, passive-aggressive control freak!!! And for the record, I've never watched the "Desperate Housewives" show either. Ever since watching Melrose Place for years and years, there's something about Marsha Cross that freaks me out. I think it was her creepy character on mel place!!!
