I have tried my hardest these past 5 days to look for reasone on why The Diary of Anne Frank, by Anne Frank was banned. I have also tried to find other books that have specific reasons on why they were/ are banned and/or challenged. I need your help.

Anne Frank was banned because sexually offensive passages and its dark subject matter.
I've listed some good links about banned books in the source box below. The first two are lists of books banned & the reasoning in alphabetical order (a-i and j-z)

the diary of ann frank is banned where? its mandatory litterature here.
a book i do know of that has been banned is
Mein Kampf, by Adolf Hitler.
it was banned because it described how to manipulate the masses. it was deamed unsafe for the public.
