I am 13 weeks pregnant with my first baby and only our families and a few close friends know I am pregnant. I have not announced it to everyone or told my boss yet.

I told my friends and family right away, but I waited till I was 18 weeks to tell my boss. By that time I was showing. You're pretty much out of the miscarriage time frame so you should feel free to tell whoever you want. Congratulations.

With my first I told a lot of people right away (I didn't find out until i was 8 weeks) I finally told everyone I knew at 18 weeks, when I found out it was a boy

with my second, I'm 9 weeks, I've told quite a few people. I have my first ultrasound on the 21st, after that I'm going to tell everyone!

I'm very happy about this baby since I didn't think I could have anymore children due to having cancer a few years ago

I recommend telling your boss right away in case you need emergency time off early. My sis went on bed rest in like 12 weeks with her first, it's a good thing people knew what was going on

I told my sis the day I went to buy the pregnancy test. I told my husband after I took the test. I told my mom a few hours later. I can't keep anything from my family.

I haven't figured out how to tell my 3 year old yet though

I told everyone when I was 11 weeks, because at that point I had an ultrasound and everything looked good. I told my mother, mother in law my boss and the people at work when I was 8 weeks. I worked in a pet store as an animal tech and my job became limited especially around cats. Also workers comp was coming to evaluate my position. I had to tell my boss... But 11 - 12 weeks I would say is average and a safe and comfortable time.

Between 6-8 weeks. I think if you already made it through your first trimester you should be fine to tell everyone. I am 9 weeks pregnant now with my second child and everyone already knows. I think the sooner the better so that people can pray for you and your babys health. Also not to mention if you are having a rough pregnancy people at work will be more understanding when you take time off. Good luck !!! Motherhood is the best job in the whole world.

First, congratulations on your pregnancy! Everybody handles announcing a pregnancy differently and ultimately, you have to do what works best for you. With my son, we waited until after our first appt. at 9 weeks (where we saw and heard the heartbeat) to tell our families. We told our friends and I told my boss once I entered my second trimester. I am now pregnant with my second but I'm only 5 weeks and so we are going to wait until my first appt. to tell people again. For those that have guessed, I have not denied it since I know that if anything were to happen, I would tell those same people.

It can be a different answer for everyone. But this is what I did. Everyone knew right away with my first and second. I suffered multiple miscarriages after that so when I got pregnant with my third child we didn't tell anyone we didn't want to have to explain a miscarriage to (in case it would happen again). So only our immediate family and close friends knew. We told everyone else after the 1st trimester.

I told my family right away, but right now I am currently working two jobs and only one of them knows im pregnant and thats because I'm a nanny to a two year old whos mom is also pregnant lol. I am almost 22 weeks pregnant and I still havent told one job. I am going to wait until they ask probably just because I would feel akward just saying it I guess.

6-7 weeks. It's my first I kow they say you should wait but I was too excited. But I think I was around 10 weeks before I told my boss well actually some big mouth told her before i did lol
