It may have been either too cold or the snake may have been scared. If the snake feels insecure while it is eating it won't eat. If you try having the mouse a bit warmer the next time and it still doesn't eat it try leaving it in the cage with the snake for a few hours. You watching it eat may make it nervous.

Ann J ball pythons are not by any means large snakes. If you don't know the answer to the question or don't know anything about the snake than please don't answer it. It just spreads false knowledge.

you probably did solid elevating the temp of the enclosure now wait a million week do no longer shelter the snake in any respect be sure it has a secure conceal field and is in a room it fairly is quiet and loose from commotion , additionally attempt to feed at evening in a usually darkish room . If the snake nonetheless wont devour attempt to place the enclosure in a closet or another place it fairly is particularly quiet and thoroughly darkish then positioned a pinky mouse interior the enclosure and go away it over evening if that still would not paintings place the snake and a pinky in a paper bag such as you utilize to %. your lunch in then close the bag and positioned a small volume of tape to be sure the snake would not get out and a few small air holes and go away them over evening place the bag interior the enclosure so as that if that snake does get out that's no longer getting loose . I certainly have had solid good fortune with those techniques I used to get captive hatched infant ball python in via the hundred and utilising those techniques i've got been given greater then ninety% began ingesting surprisingly rapid .

make sure they are at room temperature when you feed them to your bp. after a mouse has been frozen for too long, they loose their "mouse" scent. at my pet store i actually put the bedding we have our live mice in in a seperate container. this produces good results for finiky snaks and reptiles. also, if its cold outside your snake might just trying to be hybernating, they can go for a couple months without feeding in hybernation. but you should try to feed it at least every 2 weeks. but if you live in florida, then idk the climate.
