Pujols is better hands down. No contest. If he can stay injury free and keep playing like he has, Pujols is going to go down as one of the best hitters in major league history. He also has a much improved glove at first and will only get better with the years.

Albert Pujols is the obvious answer. There was a time, before the steroid issue when Giambi was perhaps the most feared hitter in the American League.

Pujols...there is no comparison !! Check Pujols stats since he started playing for the Cardinals, he hasn't had a bad year yet...while Giambi only had a few good years during his career, which of course now has been linked to his admitted steroid use !!

Giambi is on a downward spiral. He's slow getting old and probably wont get picked up after his option with the Yankees is over. Unless he goes somewhere just to DH. Pujols is a great young ball player. With tons of talent and potential..and as far as i know he done it all natural..so that gives him another boost.

This question really isn't even worth answering. How can you even compare Giambi to Sir Albert?

I am a Yankee fan and can tell you emphatically that Pujols is much better than Giambi.

You think that there's any type of legitimacy to this comparison?

When it comes to baseball, Giambi can't even wipe Pujols boots.
