He had to find a place to hide the money he was being paid while playing for USC. Other than that, his only real obstacle was waiting three years after high school until he could be drafted.

The only obstacle Bush had was to wait 3 years after high school to get money from an agent.

Alas, it was an obstacle Bush could not hurdle, as he took money, trips, and other gifts from agents while he was at USC.

What? Your question is not very clear but I'll give it a shot.
Scouts were DROOLING over Bush since his junior year at USC. He was a top 3 (should have been number 1) pick since then.
He had to work hard to maximize his natural gifts. No one gets in on natural talent alone. He had to be disciplined and sacrifice some "normal" things (social life, partying, other things like learning to play an instrument, etc.) that other young people do so he could focus on football. This kid knows the game and uses his mind to get the most out of his abilities. That didn't happen without a lot of studying, work and attention to what his coaches have told him.

Bush's obstacle was money and goods received while in college. He went under it instead of over it, and may be stripped of his Heisman trophy in the whole process. I guess his other obstacle is his stupidity. We all know he did it, anyone who acts like he didn't is ignoring the videotape evidence that proves he is in hot water.

Being a rookie is tough in the NFL. Vets want you to earn your stripes. He must learn that there are very big men who can run fast. In college he was usually the fastest man on the field. He still may be the fastest but canny vets know how to be in position for a tackle. These vets have seen it all and might not always go for his juke moves. But did very well, especially being a receiver. Little noticed was willingness to block. He stayed in sometimes and blocked blitzers. All in all a fine rookie season. He earned his keep. NO sold out every game in advance.

Dead Head has picked a good name. It is customary to wait until the matter is fully investigated. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
