Well considering they don't get awards anymore on the CMA (Country Music Awards) or any other Country Awards Ceremony, I guess the Grammy's feels the need to pay tribute to their over exaggerated need to speak their minds (thanks to "freedom of speech"). But true country folk, where they got their start "Aren't Ready to Make Nice" with these idiots anymore either!!!

Yes it is pretty much the exact same. Everyone supports 80s-90s hip hop, and the mainstream is looked down upon... mainly cause it really is garbage. As for the question, I like a good amount of rock as well and it follows the same mentality, mostly classic stuff. Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, and Ten Years After being my favourite bands.

They claim they're not country anymore so why did they accept the award for country album. I think it was a slap in the face to country music. I can't believe they won over all the other great talent out there. It was all political to me. They're good but not that good to win all those awards over some really great performers.
