I have to create a Ukiyo-e for an English project. The problem is I do not know what materials are needed and where to buy them. Anybody know?

This is a style of wood block printing. The part of the image that is NOT printed is cut out of the wood using a gouge knife. The remaining surface is coated with ink using a roller ("brayer"), then rice paper laid on top is rubbed til the ink soaks into the paper. The prints are then hand-coloured with watercolour.

So your materials list is -
wood (basswood is soft to cut) or you could use artists linoleum, easier to find & easier to cut
Wood gouges (like lino-cutting tools)
India ink
Rice paper
Watercolour paint
A rubber brayer

Any good art supply store will carry these things.
have fun!

Ink, glue and wood presumably paper or canvas, also.)

If you google ukiyo-e, and especially if you check the Wikipedia entry, there's quite a lot of info.
