It's not a big deal to me. I would not react or be hurt. My wife on the other hand is a different story.

well, i go through that it's not fun is it? what i started doing is holiday's i buy myself something that i like and show the items to him a couple of day's later and just simply say well this is what i got from myself for valentine's day since my sweetheart didn't come through this year. i know it isn't the same at all but it's not fare to you and it is the small things that count like a simple card or a nice home made dinner or just that different kind of hug just for that day, well good luck hope you like what you get that day even though it's you buying ,it's a slap in the face but it is a wake-up call !!!!!!

It's just a Hallmark Holiday to my husband and I. We don't celebrate Mothers day or Fathers day either with our parents. You shouldn't have to set one day out of the year to show someone how much you care. I'd rather surprise my loved ones with something special thru out the year then be forced to think of an appropriate gift just because the calender tells me to.

I would be mad and sad but act like everything was ok and ask them why they didn't get me anything for Valentine's Day.

i would cry. then figue out that i can just dump him. then i would feel a bit better. And then i would find someone who would get me a gift on ⥠day.

Make sure they know what day it is.Or just act like you don't care.Or don't give them your gift.

my hubby and i don't exchange gifts, but if he didn't get me flowers and a card, i'd be upset. not mad, just upset.
