The government has come a long way in the fight against marijuana with absolutely no real evidence to support the claim that marijuana is bad for you.
I don't see the anti-weed commercials as compelling arguments in their favor. In fact, all I see is people acting stupid and careless and blaming it on weed because they're too scared to accept personal responsibility.
One time, they tried to convince us that weed makes us bad drivers because like 33% (I forgot the exact percentage) of all people involved in fatal car crashes had THC in their systems. And? What else did they have in their systems? How many of them were drunk? How responsible were these drivers? The only thing that statistic shows us is that these people had THC in their systems. Nothing more. No causitive link at all. Half truths are the best they can do? And then so many people fall for that s***.
Weed isn't for everyone, but it's not as terrible as many make it out to be. What do you think?

You people are the prime example of what ledge is talking about. Everything you idiots are saying are just stereotypes, unfairly earned. Yes, you have a lot of potheads that are lazy and slow and do absolutely nothing. Are potheads all of a sudden the only ones who fall into that category? There are quite a few beer drinkers who do even less. There are people who don't drink or do drugs that do nothing with their lives. Being slow or stupid is a product of poor neurological connection. As for the genius who said something about hallucinating, are you serious? Where do you get your info from? Marijuana doesn't make you hallucinate any more than a cup of coffee. If you're gonna generalize a whole group of people, you might wanna get your facts straight.
To the dude above me, I'm not talking to you, however regular usage doesn't necesarily "scramble" your brains. THC is a stimulant that increases electrical activity in the brain. If you do absolutely nothing, then yes. That extra activity is going to burn out brain cells. If you use your mind while high, you actually connect new neurons. Studies have shown many smokers increase their IQ's after years of steady use.

Well it basically does everything that smoking tobacco does. Lung cancer, increased risk of heart disease, it basically just screws up your body. And you know perfectly well that only a small percentage of people use marijuana for "medical purposes". And yes the man made stuff in cigarettes are bad but if you inhale any kind of smoke it's gonna cause health problems. And the only reason tobacco is legal is because it produces alot of money! But I'm honestly fine with legalizing marijuana as long as I don't have to be around it. Secondhand smoke and what not. But it will bring in alot of money, probably enough to take a huge chunk out of our national debt. So if you want all the bad that comes with a few hours of high then by all means.

Well if you like to get scrambled brains from overuse of pot I guess it's okay. However, very occasional users 2 or 3 times a month, no big deal.

Marijuana is not necessarily a bad thing but is it good for your health and mentality? No. Pot makes you goofy, smelly, forgetful, stumbling, mumbling, muchy eatin' fools. Pot makes you a lazy couch potato incapable of anything reliable. Pot will make you a bum with brain damage. Slurry talking fools.
