We play volleyball together. I like her and I she likes me (I hope), but I don't know if she likes me like a date.

Valentines day is Wednesday, and I won't have a phone until at least Tuesday, I just ruined mine.

If you think I should ask her, what would you say? And should a borrow a phone of use email?

of course! just be laid back and chill, get a little present but please dont write a poem cause it could come out as cheesy and what not. maybe something like a single rose and write a special note decorative. good luck

I guess it depends on how long you have known her. If you know her pretty well then what could it hurt to just ask her to the movies or something simple. You kind of make it a little awkward waiting so late to ask her but I say just ask her in person or borrow a phone and start with asking if she has plans yet or not, at least if she does you wont embarrass yourself by suggesting something right off the bat..

Go for it! If you will not see her in person, go ahead and try to borrow a phone and call her as soon as possible. If not, go ahead and give her a call on Tuesday and tell her you would love to hang out with her if she does not have Valentine's Day plans already. Also, have a gameplan about what you want to do e.g. movies, dinner at her favorite restaurant, volleyball whatever you want. Best of luck to you and remember...JUST DO IT! You'll regret it if you don't.

of course u should if u like her, what better way to start a relationship than on valentines day, all girl love to go out on that day. Just say to her I would enjoy if you spent valentines day with me so I can treat u as special as i think u are. And if you want to borrow a phone go ahead. But u should ask her in person for the date, it makes it more personal

Call her. Just borrow a phone, like you said.
Tell her Valentine's Day is comming up and you don't have a date. Say, you would be honored if she would like to be your valentine for the day.

That's a very generic way of asking her. You lose all risk of being shot down unless she has already accepted a date with someone else.

GO FOR IT! You have nothing to lose.

first: if you know of anything that's going on (aka a social event) then either ask her if she is going (in the case of a school sports game etc.) or ask her if she'd like to go (a party that might not be known by everyone... asking her to a social situation will help ease and stress (for you and her both) that might result from the question.
if you're not so luck to have esuch an event then just work up the balls to ask her if she'd like to go to a movie (or something) some time (you don't need to add "with me" it makes it sound forced). if she says that she'd like to, then suggest the "14th" she'll get the clue, and you'll be good to go...follow this aproach, best way to get there w/ out looking desperate, or having to put yourself out there so much

i do not imagine this is cliche in any respect!! Why do it the day after valentines day.. that could want to be strange. I say take her out on valentines day and make her experience particular and then ask her out.

Of course you should ask her out on V's Day!!!! I think calling her would be a lot better than e-mail because if you e-mail her (asking her out) it may seem as if your scared to do it yourself...
... I'd call instead. Just act normal be yourself, make it special!

If I were asking someone out I'd be like, "Hey, Valentine's Day is on Wed, I was wondering, if your not doing anything maybe you'd like to go to the movies." Or wherever you want to go. Just make sure she's not going out wit someone else...
Act fun and flirty maybe she'll say yes!!

you have to ask her in person phone or e-mail just isn't cute.

That would be so cute.though, all girls dream of being asked out on v-day.

another cute idea
if your worried about verbally asking her
give her a valentine's day card and a rose, in the card write how u think she is perfect and if she would be your girlfriend...

Girl can't say no to that...

Find her in school on Wenseday with a heart neaklace ($20 at JcPennys) and ask her to be your Valentine then after your first date ask her to be your girlfriend, but if you don't have that much money find her in school and give her a heart that you printed off the internet or made with paper, and ask her to be your Valentine and after the first date ask her to be your girlfriend

Why don't you just say it to her face! It alot more romantic then over the phone or by email!
1 Don't be embarrassed if you get tongue tied! Most girls think it is cute. If she is your friend she won't care.
