Not saying that Tom Baker wasn't a good doctor, but there are nine others to choose from as well :)

Sylvester McCoy is my favorite Doctor, he brought a new level of mystery to the character and made him 100% more complex than he had ever been before. It was also fasinating to see the raw power and authority that a man of his stature commanded.

He was not the first Doctor I remember, but I truely feel like he was MY Doctor, due to his episodes were new when I was watching the series on public television.

1 Tom Baker - he was funny and the scripts were good in those days
2 William Hartnell
3 Jon Pertwee - he was funny
4 Colin Baker - I liked his coat and hair
5 Sylvester McCoy - he was the doctor I used to watch as a kid
6 Peter Davidson - I liked him but he was a bit dull
7 Patrick Troughton - I've never seen an episode with him in
8 David Tennant - I don't like the new ones, the stories are odd and its overhyped
9 C Ecclestone
