Try checking out the book "Taking charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler from your local library. It has lots of very useful information to know exactly when you're ovulating and therefore the most fertile and has a chapter dedicated on how to optomize your chances for pregnancy. It also has a chapter on how to spot a few fertility problems that might exsist without going to see a Dr. which is helpful. Some signs to watch for to optimize pregnancy is your cervical fluid, have intercourse every day it's clear, stretchy and slippery. Also you can track your waking temp, which can't predict when you'll ovulate, but will tell you if you actually are ovulating. you could be getting a surge of the hormone detected by the tests and not ovulate, but your temp will rise only if you are. Good luck, I hope this helps.

It sounds like you are certainly on the right track. :)

Extra steps: both cut out alcohol and caffeine to ensure his sperm is nice and healthy and have a healthy place to "reside". You could be taking prenatals now to get your iron and folate count up, which is key for the baby's development that 1st trimester.

If you are having sex during your ovulation, it should only be a matter of time before you get pregnant. After you have sex, you can prop your butt up on a pillow or two, or keep you legs over your head to help "direct" the sperm where they need to go. :) Be patient, sometimes it just takes longer than expected.

Good Luck!

Continue to take vitamins and use ovulation kits..talk to your local doctor about any medications that may increase your chances,I wouldnt reconmed Ovulex ,but Ive heard many good things and reults from the fertilty drug called "clomid" ,but it needs to be followed closely by your doctor in chance of any problems.

if you havent done this try it!it is the way i seem to get pregnant and i have 5 babies!lay on your back with your hips up(use a pillow)when your husband has an orgasm have him only be inside you about 3 inches.stay laying down on your back at least 20 min.this will cause a sperm pool to sit on your cervix.do not move laugh or cough! this is actually the first theng my specialist had me do.guess it worked:)

This may sound strange but if your husband wears tighty whities, have him switch to boxers. After a year of trying to get pregnant, my doctor gave me this advice. I was pregnant the next month. I guess briefs hold the testicles up too high causing the sperm to get too hot. Its worth a try! Good luck!
