Pro choicer’s have made the case that because it’s legal, it’s not wrong to do so. That's great. I think I'll go cheat on my girlfriend now. It's legal, correct? So that makes it right? you're confusing legality with morality. There are lots of things that are legal that aren't really moral. It's perfectly legal for corporate america to ship your job overseas to save money on labor, but does that make it right? It was perfectly legal for the oil industry to continue to raise oil prices while also reaping record profits, but I bet you were one of those that screamed bloody murder and claimed a lack of ethics and moral sensibility was being practiced (all the while you went and filled up at the nearest gas station). It is immoral of business owners to legally oppose the rasing of minimum wage. And yet, it's moral for you to go ahead and kill human life because the Courts said it was legal. That's an interesting contradiction. It's even more interesting that science says biological life begins during prophase, the initial stage of mitosis. But the kicker is how the pro choicers scream that the pro lifers base their definition of life on their faith. Yet, many pro lifers cite the scientific argument of mitosis, just as I have. Pro choicers say that life begins at birth. Based on what? Faith? It certainly isn't science. Look, I'm not here to argue if you do or don't have the legal right to have an abortion. The Courts have ruled that you do. What I'm saying is that you don't have the moral right to do so, just as I don't have the moral authority to cheat on my girlfriend. To believe otherwise is only placating your own state of moral unconsciousness.

1) The basis of the pro choice movement is that it is moral to abort and therefore it is legal to abort. On the other hand it is immoral to be pro life and yet it is still legal. I think you should count your blessings that society allows you to be pro life without putting you in jail.
2) You cannot compare the lowering or raising of the minimum wage without also discussing the raising or lowering of the price of food due to increases or decreases in the minimum wage. Raising wages causes prices to raise. Your selfish answer is to give you more money and screw the poor.
3) There is no killing of human life in abortion. There is no human life in a fetus, if you belive otherwise, talk to your fetus, if it answers, I will concede your point. Otherwise, it is simply your fantasy. If you wish to avoid abortion and make a fool out of yourself, that is fine with me. But don't expect me to believe in your fantasy and live my life by what you simply believe and cannot prove. Your falsehoods lead to the death of millions of people already walking and talking on this earth. Millions die evey year in undeveloped nations due to the actions of people like you. If you cared anything about life, you would spend your resources and time helping those already born, including the 2 million babies that die after birth each year. Your field of vision is limited by your low IQ and lack of respect for those who are already alive.
----finally----
You speak of your morals--- you have no morals. If you love your girlfriend, you will tell her of the millions of dying children that are already born. You will tell her of the importance of raising children that are loved and wanted. And you will advise her that God gave her a brain to determine whether or not to give birth to a child. Science should be about saving the most children, not about picking and choosing based on an unfounded and illogical concept such as the pro life movement. You are no better than a con man.

I agree with you completely that abortion is immoral, though I don't know if I would've put my argument the same way. The most common thing I hear from pro-choicers is that it's not a human life-but, if it is true that babies are not humans until they have been born, then why, when pregnant women are killed, is it counted as the murder of two lives? Because it is two lives! People are hiding behind anything they can because they don't want the responsibility of a baby. And you're right, just because something is legal doesn't make it right.

I agree. Some one made the comment that it isn't an easy choice, yea it is. Choose to close your legs in the beginning then you won't have to worry about anything unexpected. I hope it haunts a person for the rest of their life. Who knows who that baby could have been. A baby is a gift not everyone is given, but like everything in life people take it for granted and aren't satisified. People who have or perform abortions are all murders and think about themselves only, not they people they effect. Yet years down the road they want regret what they have done, and they expect sympathy. Haha it would be a cold day in hell before I feel sorry for anyone who can kill life's most innoscent. That baby never ask to come in this world.

What was the QUESTION? You know it's your opinion and opinions are like a$$ holes....everyone has one. It's also wrong for avid pro-lifers to bomb abortion clinics killing the people inside that's murder is it not? We all do wrong you are not innocent you have done wrong in your life. Don't judge someone unless you have been in their shoes and your a man you can't get pregnant it's not evena choice for you to make. I think pro-choicer's base life on the fact that it is self sustaining after birth a child born at 16 weeks is going to die or have a poor quality of life because they are not a fully developed human being. Where are your facts coming from a high-schooler's term paper? "He who is with out sin may cast the first stone" who said that? ummmmm....Jesus? Yeah he was pretty moral.....maybe He could judge...NOT YOU! I must say it is interesting that killing a pregnant woman yeilds two life sentences...maybe more condolense to the members of the family? This is a never ending debate that is soooooo getting old there is no resolution, as long as it is legal people will do it. If it is not legal women will find a way to get it done prob in a very unsanitary and dangerous way. There is going to be things in this world people do that you don't like, you're not them, you can't control them, if you don't like it move to a deserted island.

I think abortion is wrong. If you think you have the responsibility to have sex, especially unprotected, then you have the responsibilty to take care of a child. People need to think about what could happen if they have sex, they could have a child, and if they did get pregnant would they be able to raise the child? The only time abortion should be right is when the women gets raped or it's going to harm her or the baby. But if they set the law to be just rape victims get abortions then all of these women are going to cry rape. But everyone has their own opininon.

I totally agree with you even though abortion is legal it doesn't mean that it is moral. People should think about what they are doing and stop being selfish. It's just to easy for a person to get an abortion. I think that it should be banned.

So what's the question? I have no problem w/ abortion being legal. Sometimes what works for one person doesn't work for another...and that's okay! Pro-choice is about respecting a person's right to make choices. I found myself in a situation recently when I had to make a choice to have an abortion...I decided to keep my child, but that doesn't mean that if the same thing happened to me 5 years ago I would have made the same choice. I certainly hope that abortion stays legal in the future for my daughter and for other women out there. The gov't has no business in my bedroom or in my uterus!

It's not right to kill a life. I know five different "women" that had abortions, and if they had to do it all over again they wouldn't. They told me it was like ripping a soul from their body. What I cannot figure out, why is it that if someone kills a pregnant woman that they go after this person for killing two people, and they can get two sentences out of it, but these people with NO heart can sit there and kill a baby. If you can lay there and decide that you are woman enough to let a man be with you, then be woman enough and have the child to take care of, or better yet, adopt it out, instead of having it's body chopped up, or it pulled out and it's head being stuck with a needle to suck it's brains out, killing this INNOCENT child. Just because adults, teens... who the heck ever isn't INNOCENT enough to remain INNOCENT.. doesn't mean that baby isn't. As for RAPE victims, or victims of a family member doing things to them.. that is WHY there are the "AFTER" pills, this will cause you to have a period and clean your system out, if you aren't SMART or BRAVE enough because you are so SCARED.. then you deserve to go through with the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption. For those KILLERS that abort... it should be a law.. if you abort, you will be fixed to where you can NEVER EVER get pregnant again! Take birthcontrol! I swear! This subject annoys me.. because the same group of people probably would put you in a darn electric chair if you harm an animal. I get so sick and tired of people acting like animals are more important than a LIVING SOUL! I don't condone rape, it is horrible, my mother went through it, but she also had her child, that was before the "after" pill went into affect. She has the same feelings I do about this subject, so back off you bunch of hypocritic women who are killers. There are some of us women that would love to adopt a child, but those who are into abortions are too busy killing them to allow someone to adopt them. The only good thing is that they go back to God, but what will you tell him about this child you killed?

You are right. Abortion is murder, it doesn't matter how you look at it. Murder is certainly immoral. Come on, killing babies!? How low can a person get? I don't really agree with the way you put that argument though...
Those of you that argue that the fetus is not alive, if it weren't alive, how could it have a heartbeat?

Are you done venting now?

Because it is legal isn't the reason pro-choice people use in their argument over abortion. That is your opinion, NOT FACT.

If I was small minded such as yourself I would say all pro-life people are all fanatics that scream murder at every given moment. Though it happens often on here I am sure their on many pro-life people that take a respectful stance and use actual facts instead of pulling MURDER card at any given point

But hey I can pull a card too like yourself. Pro-Lifers believe it is murder to kill a Fetus yet have blown up abortion clinics with people inside which is in fact murder...hmm...
