Well it depends on how you are going to wear it. If you are going to wear it to create a smokey eye effect, then go for it! If you want to cover your whole lid in black, then no... at lease I wouldn't.

if you do wear it you must practice applying it before you wear it out. If you are blond and have a light skin tone it should be blended into a deep gray and worn under other colors just to give those colors depth. Black eyeshadow is tricky and you have to really know how to use it. Best way to do it: Apply to the outer corners and blend in upwards into the crease and use with other complimentary colors over it. Only use black if you want extremely dramatic eyes...not a daytime look

I really don't think that it looks good on anyone other than people with very dark skin. It may look good at first, but you will end up looking like a corpse several hours later. If you're going for the smoky eye look, try a dark gray or bronze shadow. These look a little more natural and suit most skin tones.

I wouldn't wear black eyeliner because it makes your eyes look to dramatic, almost gothic looking. If anything just use black eyeliner on the top lid and bottom lid, and what I do is connect the line at the corner of your eye, and it ends up looking really good!

Sheisdo makes a beautiful black shadow. My thoughts are-
I have been wearing black shadow from them for over 25 years :) and am not goth lol just a suburban mom. Application is everything when usign a darker color, get good brushes, blend - start light you can always add more.

i love black eyeshadow...
although u can look like a clown
if u don't apply it just right.
i like it for when i go out
it's a little much for daytime.
it's so pretty when u use it
to create the smoked effect.
make sure u practice before
u decide to wear it out
bc it can be frustrating lol

My friend wears it everyday well its eyeliner on her eyelid but it looks the same. Anyway, it matches everythink she wears but its her style. If its not yours it can look pretty drastic. Try it at ur house and send some pics to ur friends! lol If they say no dont wear it i guess! Oh yea she has black hair and pretty dark skin too (Australian)

It's okay, but I would recommend it for night use. It could look odd if you wear it for daily use, but it's up to you what you want to express with it...
