Annually around Christmas we make our trek to Walt Disney World and I, among other things, search out Chip and Dale souvenirs. Trading pins with C & D are abundant, but I can't find t-shirts, figurines, or many stuffed animals.

It seems like they are getting scarcer. Is it my imagination? Please share any details you might have.

I love those little mischievous guys!

Ya its a Disney phase. Tech Fanatic is right about Tinker Bell being the popular character right now. She is everywhere. They will be brought around again. Until then, you'll just have to look a little harder for items you like. I found 2 items on Disney's shopping website. The chip and dale with Donald snowglobe is pretty cool. Check out this website:

As for apparel items - try Zazzle! Visit http://www.zazzle.com and click on T-shirts and Disney. You can create your own Chip N Dale T-shirt or buy one someone else has created!

Good luck!

I think that you will see more stuff soon. Like the other answer said, they go through phases of one character. Right now Tinker Bell seems to be one of the most popular, but you can always find things in pins.

World of Disney is always the best place to find things at. I know when I was recently on the Disney Cruise they had some Chip and Dale beanie babies.

Hope you can find them soon!

I hope not, last time I was there, about 2 years ago, they were all over the place. We are going again in June and if my daughter cannot find a chip or dale souvenir, then she will be crushed.

Disney goes through phases where they tend to promote different characters- for a while Eeyore was everywhere- currently it is harder to find Eeyore stuff- just give it tiime- they will be back- next time you are here- check out the character shop at Disney Marketplace- you probably were there at Xmas but that is the place to find anything you could want that they make.

Chip and Dale made their first appearance in 1943.
When the cartoons are older than the current viewing generation's parents..... it is time for them to get phased out.
They phased out Ra, Selket, Set, and Thoth (egyptian gods) also once they were, how should I say this, "stale". I'm betting if chip and dale are your favorites you're over 35 ("not being rude" - Simon Cowell).

Besides... Chip and Dale are notoriously homosexual cartoon figures, and I think George Bush made that illegal... I'm not sure... something like that.
