People on here are SO eager to be 1st to answer a question, they just type in a period or an asterisk & then run to Google & Wikipedia for their reply?
Thing is, if the person underneath them actaully come up w/ an answer before them, I give the *2nd* person the credit. Mainly for spite. :)

Good way to do it. Some people just have to be first in everything, makes them feel special. I've been last or close to it many times. I just try to answer the best I can and maybe some one will get something out of it or at least get a laugh.

I asked sort of the same thing a while ago. I think it's because if you answer late and there are a lot of them, it may not be read. I've skipped plenty that way...

I never do anything like that but I do feel speacial when I am.
