oh my... make sure you can use it on other pc units and can access your flash drive if you cant even on other pc unit then it is a big possibilty that your flash drive had short circuited its main flash ROM memory chip check if you cant really access your files in your flash drive if it you cant then practice your rights as a consumer and claim your warranty....(rule of thumb)..DO NOT! just pullout your flash drive in your pc when it is plugged ot will destroy your flash drive one way or the other by means of a electrical ground ALWAYS turn of your usb connection at the lower right icon so it can turn of the electrical supply thru your usb port....

Go to the web site for the manufacturer of your flash drive. If you are running Windows 98, 98se or (gasp) Windows me you *might* need a driver. If you do, you *should* be able to download it from the manufacturers web site. Windows 2000, you *might* need a driver, but it's unlikely. However, it never hurts to check.

If you are running Windows XP it's highly unlikely that you need a driver. If you do, I would just trash it and buy one that will run under Windows XP without the need for a device driver that you would need to load yuorself.

Only Win98 needs drivers for that device ... Not Win2K & defenitely not XP.

Perhaps the drive has been damaged... can it be read from another PC ? If so then there may be system file corruption on your PC.
