Well, you're a cutie, you look smart...but my advice to you is just to concentrate...cut out all of the distractions, so you don't get side-tracked. Because i'm like that, and when my dad helps me with my homework, i'm always listenin to music or somethin and I get easily distracted. Tough love :( but if you can, you should ask your teacher or matter of fact she SHOULD let ya do most of it in class (that's what my teacher(s) does ) and if you don't finish it in class, you got it for homework! Hope my advice worked lil homey ;)

Well, start your homework earlier. Like maybe as soon as you get home and finish having a snack or changing or taking a shower. Then, start your homework, and get focused. Don't be distracted by things such as TV, phone, or computer. Only use the phone if you're talking to someone about homework, if not, then don't talk! Also, don't watch TV until you are done your homework, it can be a reward. Only use the computer if you need to do research, or type something up. Other than that, just stay focused, and you should be done earlier.

When I was in school, I never liked to do my homework at home. So everyday my goal was to get as much completed before I got home. I use to get a head start on my lunch break--that was about 45 minutes. If I had a whole lot to do I would avoid my friends between classes and head right away to my next class to get an extra ten minutes. It seemed to work out fine for me. By the time I got home most of it if not all of it was done. That gave me all the free time in the world.

Start earlier in the evening in order to finish earlier.

Do your homework before you do other things, such as listening to music, watching TV, playing video games.

Organize your homework before you sit down to do it.

Wear earplugs or earphones so as not to be distracted by your sister. Keep the door to her room (or your room) closed.

Take shorter breaks.

Don't listen to the radio or CDs while doing homework. Don't turn on the TV.

Don't connect to Internet while doing homework, unless it is absolutely necessary. Chatting, reading articles, surfing, and answering Yahoo questions all take a lot of time.

Make sure you're away from any distractions and try relaxing your mind before starting(physical exercise, meditation, or simply writing your thoughts down on a piece of paper all work well). If your teachers stay after school, try staying with them. That way, they can help you with anything you don't understand and keep you on track. Also, ask your teachers if they can tell you any strategies. When in doubt, ask a professional.

ima sports player also, but not a soccer player. i suggest you get some done during school, or if its the reason that you dont understand the hw, you get extra help. i dont have a problem finishing my hw late. and, value every minute you have at home. even if your stuck in the bathroom(if you know what i mean), you can bring some hw in there.
