I thought this is a nice vindications for Dixie Chicks because what they had to go thru for the las few years from the people who worships Bush/Chaney like they are God or something. I'm soooooo proud of Dixie Chicks from not caving in and apologizing like so many celebrities after they speak their minds. Anyone agrees?

I was very happy for them. Iam not sure why but all of a sudden it wrong to state an opinion . So many others have said so much worse. Yes it was about time.

in case you needed to study out this from a diverse perspective...those awards shows do look to placed a correct type on communities or performers which have conquer adversity, made a comeback, etc. The Dixie Chicks were highly a lot airborne dirt and mud some years in the past. they have bounced again. i'd assume that grow to be a interest...alongside with the Grammy's being political for sure.

To be honest with you I am indifferent to the Dixie Chicks I could careless one way or another. I think that Natalie Maines has a big mouth that she should learn to keep shut sometimes. I could careless what she says about Bush/Chaney she just needs to learn to keep her mouth shut just the same as Rosie O'Donnell.

They have every right to freedom of speech. I just think it was done in poor taste and Natalie Maines should act like she has some sense. Also, I would have been ok with their political opinions, but then they dissed the country music fans, very tacky.Talk about biting the hand that fed them all those years. I don't care to see them win anything.

The Dixie Chicks are loud-mouthed morons, and they don't deserve any respect or props for any of their crap. Their music sucks, they suck, and they should all die.

Not me, they were disrespectful of the government, as if any one of them has any knowledge about life....celebs need to shut the f up and sing or act and leave politics to the ones who are educated...

They seem pretty modest about winning, and I liked that.

I am very proud. Jesus likes people who stand up for themselves and won't back down. Good for them.
