I have flushed down a bunch of christmas tree needles down the toilet and it got clogged.

I tried:

-using the plunger
-blowing air at 230 mph into the hole
-tried pouring hotwater down it
-tried sticking in a long flexible stick to clear the clog

NOTHING WORKS

--->I really do not want to call the plumber, I don;t have money to waste.

ADVICE?

I answer this question at least 3 times a week. I work at a tool lending library... YES a TOOL LENDING LIBRARY were you borrow tools for FREE.......Anyway, first try using a toilet auger, what a toilet auger does is cleans out what ever is in the toilet it self, If that doesn't work then get a snake, go through the clean out and snake out the line. Depending how long your line is and where you live a 50' snake would work if not 100' But you can rent them at any equipment rental, in my case tool lending library,
only a hand full and a half in the U.S

Any way GOOD LUCK...................

Almost forgot, to avoid this problem again REMEMBER toilets are for HUMAN waste not a trash can. Depending on how old the pipe is you can do real damage on the pipes that can cost you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$........................

Sound like it's clogged past the toilet itself. Find the clean out trap on the sewer line below the toilet. Most lines should have one not too far from the toilet and you can take that off and use a snake (the tool, not the reptile) to clean out the clog. If you can't get to it then you really need to call a plumber and may want to do so anyway.

I am surprised your valiant attempts have not resulted in success. Are you sure you took all the decorations off the needles before you did this?

The problem is deeper than the toilet itself... deeper down the pipe I mean. Unfortunately, a plumber and his trusty equipment bag is your best bet... call some pals and see if anyone knows a plumber that you could swap a service call for something you do... whatever it is you do. If you're an accountant, do his taxes for half price... or if you program computers, write him a program to determine the amount of pipe needed to plumb a 1500 square foot house.. or... whatever... be creative... always works for me when I do things I shouldn't have.

Seems like you may need to go and rent a "roto-rooter". If you've tried that already, Then you'll have to take the toilet off. I usually buy a new wax seal when I do this. Turn off the water, drain all the water out of the tank, disconnect the water hose, unscrew the bolts and lift it straight up. Look in the drain hole and even feel around to see if you have anything clogging toilet in the trap. If not, then it'll be in the sewer pipe itself, and thats when the "roto-rooter" will come in handy. When finished, I like to keep the old wax seal on (or you can remove it if you want), and place the new one in place, then gently place the toilet STRAIGHT down over the seal. One you have it in place gently sit on it to seal it the screw in your screws, connect the water and turn it on. Hopefully it'll flush. Best of luck to you.

On troublesome clogs that isn't plunge, I take the plunger and block off the drain on the bottom of the rest room, flush and enable the water upward push till it is on the fringe of overflowing and then plunge like loopy. The extra water stress will bust through basically about all troublesome clogs.

Why didn't you just put the tree needles outside? You are so lazy! How could you not know what not to flush down a toilet!? If you do not call a plummer, you could end up dealing with an awefull mess. If you are a kid and your too embarassed to tell your parrents, then get over it and tell them. I'm sure it would be better now than it would be later, after you've taken falty advice from some moron in a forum and your toilet is overflowing out the front door.

Call the plumber. You have tried everything you could possibly try. Unclogging the toilet so you can use it really isn't a waste of time or money. Spit Happens

Go buy yourself a brand new shiny wax ring.Take the toilet up of the floor after draining it and shutting of the water.Take the tank off might as well buy a seal .Please drain and shut the water off, turn the sucker upside down and fish the glob of glunk out of there.Reinstall and save yourself two hundred bucks.
