i just have a thing for CD's.

I love both. I have tons of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock CD collections and I have an IPOD Video. I bring the IPOD when I am out of the house. When I am inside the house, I play my CD's through my CD player.

IPod Pros-
1. Easyer to carry
2. Holds allot of music
3. Can play videos (some anyway)
IPod Cons-
1. Very hard to use in compairsion (ie; how many questions on using cd's do we get on here in compairision)
2. Customer Service Sucks
3. They chage for EVERYTHING , you cant even get the "free" stuff without giving them your credit card first, (unless you use limewire or something)
4. Its easy to erase your songs on accident
5. Sync can only be synced w/ one computer per ipod so it is hard to share your songs.
Cd Pros-
1. Easyer to share
2. Easyer to get music out (when you make a cd for someone, at least they listen to the first few seconds of the song before skipping it, ipod's can let you see the title and move on)
3. Can work anywhere, Ipods will charge you for the converter if u want to listen to the music in your car.
4. Easyer' to burn for others
5. If you buy an album you can use it anywhere a Cd works, if you buy an album off ITunes it only works on your ipod and it costs like a dollar a song (what a ripoff)
CD Cons-
1. they scratch
2. they left in the sun they will burn and not work
3. ahh i gotta go to work ill finish this later

I dont, its great to not have to buy a whole cd to hear 2 or 3 songs you like, those days are over for me! Seriously it has happened to all of us you buy a cd with big expectations and it sucks. Its also a lot more convenient, carry arround tons of music in a little box smaller than a cell phone, I embrace this technology and so should you.

I do, you can find most things online and burn them to a cd for free. but Ipods are too expensive for the job.
