It seems that when a guy decides to be nice and do the right things in life, be honest, mature, be helpful, be understanding, be compassionate, all the things that women want and society claims to want in general from men, many people think or call you gay. Or weak. Or effeminate, believing that guys aren't suppose to listen or be understanding or compassionate, etc.
Do people really just want guys to be jackasses?

brittney w: I don't mean a guy should be afraid and weak or timid, and can't even fight. I'm just talking about being a good person. Seems most people find that to be a weakness if a man is good. Especially other men. Most seem to equal being a nice person to desiring to sit on penis's.

In short... no, but we don't want to feel like were dating someone who is too soft... someone we have to protect should anything happen. Went to Knotts Scary Farm with a guy I just met and he was more scared than me... it was such a turn off!!!!

I love when i guy is nice, there are so many cocky, arrogent guys out there now-a-days. If i saw a guy being nice, i wouldn't think he was gay, i would think of that as being great. There need to be more nice, compassionate guys out there! Don't change, i'm tired of all the jackasses :)

Men who are kind are wonderful creatures. A similar complaint comes from nice ladies who are passed over for women who are b:tches. My best guy friends have always been polite, low-key gentlemen who are respectful and courteous. That's the only kind of guy I EVER want to be around, and that's the kind of guy that I eventually married.
Nice guys rock. You just have to find quality people who can really appreciate you.
