A tip that was taught to me years ago.
Whenever you come across a word that you don't know the meaning. Write it down. Look it up in the dictionary. Then for the next week....use it in conversation somehow.
Also...one thing I do on the internet which can give you so much knowledge instead of playing games, chatting, etc.
Pick up a newspaper. Find a person you don't know about.
Say... a local politician. Run an internet search on them. Learn all about them....especially if they are local. This way you learn who's involved in your community personally and you can converse on local government. Then go to the national level.
Lots of people running for president now. Go to Wikipedia.com. Run their name. Check out their history. Learn their positives and negatives. Learn about what they do or don't do for our country.
In the newspaper....when they tell about a fallen soldier in a foreign country....look up that country. Go to mapquest.com and find out where it is.
The internet is like a super brain-cell that we all can draw knowledge from. Just have to use it.
Good luck, Sweetie. Listen to all the other folks, too.
They have good advice, also.

Avoid the television and read. If you find something interests you, follow up that interest with research. Ask questions when you don't understand, and above all, read.

Well not on here, thats for sure. I suggest you educate yourself by reading a lot (not just what is given to you by universities, schools) and also remembering to experience things for yourself.

Ask more questions! That is how you learn....as long as it doesn't go in one ear and out the other.
