Do people generally get the impression you're normal or sketchy when they first see you?

I have no idea how others perceive me by first sight. I did an experiment with my husband. He is a very dark skinned man with long straight black hair to see if people would go through a different door other than the door that was closest to where he was sitting. Little did they know my husband worked as a Missionary a few years back. Well the experiment was not conclusive. We live in an area where there are many different ethnicity's, maybe we will have to do the experiment in my home state of Idaho. So no, where I live I'm not perceived as a suspicious character.

sketchy,but after awhile you'll notice that i am just one of the crowd,enjoying themselves and just joking around.

how should i know what others think of me?
iv asked some people for their first thoughts but they all seem to be :
mouse looking, spanish, goth/emo, sad
that kinda stuff.. and peple don't think im mously and im not spanish either... and im not dark at all.. i think...
