Hi. Ok, swelling isn't a good sign. I had a friend who ignored such sweeling and started doing sit-ups thinking she had added weight, only to later find out she had ovarian cancer. Not to scare you, but I honestly think you should get an overall check up, especially a pap smear and scan, just to make sure there's nothing wrong with your reproductive system. Hope all works out well.

My step Mum had similar symptoms as yours. She had plenty of investigations including Xrays and a scan finally showed she had a large fibroid and several small ones. Her periods were disrupted too. It might be worth asking your GP to investigate further. Her fibroids were completely harmless but did give her a rounded tummy. She was more conscious of it than others were aware of it.

Whatever it is, if it is worrying you go back to your GP and ask them for further investigations.

Good luck with it all

Go back to the doctor something not right. Abnormal bleeding normal can last for a year or so but the swelling would make me concerned. Good luck and go soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Go to your GP. I don't understand why people ask serious medical questions about their conditions on here!
