The best thing you can do is try to withold the formula, offer her water, make sure she has a king size tea before going to bed

My 11 month old daughter went through the same thing. In my case, she was a fussy eater and gets away with eating less than she should so when she wakes up, she's making up for what she didn't eat during the day. I tried feeding her more throughout the day and giving her plenty of fluids so she can digest it well (water or watered down apple juice, not always milk). After this, she didn't wake up in the night, but I still have a ready bottle for her just in case.

The other reason might be teething. It's such a typical answer and you could try giving her a nighttime ambesol (teething meds). I haven't tried them becsause my daughter still has no teeth lol.

Does she act normal otherwise? Does she have cold?

When my daughter was four month old and once again when she was six month old, she started waking up at night and started to give cue as if she was hungry. Later on both those occasions we found out she had an early stage of ear infection. Besides getting up at night and acting little fussy, she showed no other sign. So, if your daughter has a cold, better get her ears checked up. Hope its not an ear infection and only a growth spurt. All the best.

It's a growth spurt, and it is perfectly normal. There isn't anything you can do, what would you do if you woke up hungry?

Once she has finished the growth spurt she should go back to her old pattern.

I'm going through the same thing except my 11 month old son is nursing ever hour all day, and up more at night.

Remember this too shall pass.

my son was doing the same thing at 11 months old...he would only go back to sleep with formula and only eat like 3-4 ounces to...he would have night terrors the doctor would tell me...or sometimes his diaper would be to wet and uncomfortable...so she said no more bottles and maybe only a diaper once through the night..it was hard for the first week but once he knew i wouldn't get him up and give him a bottle he would go right back to sleep...till finally he slept through the night a month later..i know its hard i went through the same thing thought i would never sleep again but you will i promise...i know it seems hard now but it will get better...just feed her as much during the day as u can like solids in between bottles and then at night feed her 2 jars at 730 give her a bath at 8:30 and put her to bed at 9 and maybe she wont wake up it worked for my son...good luck mom its all normal

Hi Sonia,
She may just have gas and needs to be burped. Try this before feeding her again unless this is her normal feeding time. Be gentle and try walking her and talking with her until she falls back to sleep. Place her back to bed on her stomach. If this fails try turning her on her back in her crib and massaging her stomach slowly and rubbing each leg to elongate it. This helps especially after her bath before bedtime. Massaging the body will relax her and maybe you will get a good nights sleep as well! Hope this is helpful!

maybe she isn't eating enough throughout the day and is still hungry. or maybe she is just having bad dreams and that is the only way she can go back to sleep. start feeding her some milk right before she goes to bed and if she still gets up in the middle of the night take her to her doctor.

I thought that's what all babies do. Unless there are other very unusual symptoms that stand out I wouldn't worry about it.

SHE IS NOT GETTING ENOUGH TO EAT , MAYBE TALK TO THE PEDIATRICIAN ABOUT INCREASING HER AMOUNT OF FORMULA , SHE IS 11 MONTHS OLD , SHE MAY NEED TO START SOLID FOODS!
