I have been looking into a palm pilot type product. I really like a PalmOne zire 31 but have heard about battery problems with that one. A Palm z22 would fit my needs but is it worth the $$ spent on it? I really want to stay in the $100 price range including shipping. I don't need a camera, phone or some of the other bells and whistles but I like the idea of a color screen, calendar, stylus and graffiti programs.

Any thoughts?

The z22 is probably the best you're going to do for a brand new device with stylus, color screen, and graffiti. You might be able to get an older used PDA such as a Palm m130 or m515 for less than that, but it won't be as fast or have as much memory and older devices may be of questionable quality. Your final option is to go with a refurbished z22, which could save you some money. You're definitely not going to find any other brand new PDAs as inexpensive as the z22

yea, dont look at the money thing though. If you want this thing and want it to last get a dell. Dont worry about the price because normally the diffrence between the good pda price and the cheap one will be made up quick in replacement parts and repairs.
