Who knows? There are many balanced teams this year but it will depend on their staying power. I expect it to come from the AL East or AL Central. Yankees look good with the best lineup, closer and overall bullpen in the AL. The big question is their rotation but if they could be solid their lineup could give them the runs they need. Then again the Tigers shut them down last year with their pitching. Even though pitchers could be inconsistent from year to year I think they will only get better so they have a pretty good shot at a repeat trip to the Series. Their lineup might be a little fragile down the stretch so anything can happen.

Easy. If Bartolo Colon wins 5-10 games the Angels take the World Series in a walk. If he wins 1-5 its tougher but a cinch. No one has better starting pitching or relief. The best pitching always beats the best hitting.

Dodgers all the way. Even though they don't have a power bat, they finally have all the pieces to win. As has been said before and was proved in the '06 season, Pitching wins championships.

The A's are gonna do it. Chavez is finally going to step up and find his swing, Haren and Harden are going to have monster years, and Street is going to become the most dominant closer in the game. Oh yeah, Piazza stats for '07 - 35 hr, 120rbi, .285 avg.
Go A's!!!!

I have to go with the Detroit Tigers, they made it to the world series, and their division has only gotten weaker! The twins lost Lariano, the Sox are playing for the future, the Indians have emerged as their biggest threat, that being said they are almost a guaruntee for the playoffs, they have the Best starting pitching, and if they can get Zumaya in the closer roll watch out, and Shef is only going to make their line-up more dangerous and stable, what they are lacking is a big left handed bat....

I think the Yankees will win it all. They haven't won since 2000 and I think that with the players that they have, they could make a run at the World Series.
