They won't do any harm as long as you don't use any of their "running in the background" features, such as SpyBot's Tea Timer. The "background" features will conflict with Norton, slow your computer down, and possibly not work at all.

However, using them for one-off scans is fine.

i'm uncertain Norton is a waste in step with se, yet AVG is unquestionably a sturdy software to have on your workstation. It takes up lots much less CPU than Norton (that's a CPU hog), works greater valuable (in some human beings's opinion), and it is loose, that's certainly stunning. yet confident, AVG is a superb internet protection software.

Hi there...if you have Norton internet security 2007 it will interact with norton..and they recomend you uninstall spy bot

Yes and no. You should have Nortons and Spybot. But if you have AVG too, it might mess up Nortons. But spybot wont.

I used to ask these questions all of the time. Then I bought a Mac. My GF carried on fretting about security on her PC, then saw how things were in the Mac world. She now has a Mac, and so does her son.

Get a Mac. You wont regret it

Most probably not... But your computer will slow down observably. These software are real RAM and CPU killers. I suggest you only use one antivirus. sadly i can't reccomend any of them, because I don't use any software like so.

norton is rubbish anyway my advice chuck it away

you should get avg and spybot and also if you dont have a firewall
