I still have an old boiler and would like to change to a combi.A lot of people have said avoid Scottish Gas as they extortionate.Had a look in places like B&Q but again people say watch what you buy as a lot of them are foreign ,and trying to get parts if anything goes wrong is a nightmare.Help me my head buzzing whats an ok and reasonable priced combi cost?

I'm unsure of cost but we've been enquiring about combi boilers and the impression we get is that they are over-rated. Condenser boilers are supposed to be more effecient and cheaper to install (don't know about running costs). Good Luck.

I shall watch this Q in anticipation!!!!!!

Are you in The U.K.? What is B&Q?

Your best bet is to go into a couple of plumbers merchant, and ask for brochure on boilers ,and then try to make up your mind,
