If the offense is committed in Minnesota and it is in excess of 1000 over a period months. What would be the appropriate disposition in this case?

I think it is more likely that the parents/guardians would be charged with child neglect than the boy himself would be charged with anything.

I think it would depend on what mental handicap he has, how old he is and what he stole.

if they proved he knew right from wrong he could be tried in family court
