you can... but its not something very attractive.. you put it from your eyelashes to the crease of your eye lid and then from there up, a lighter color.. and then finish touch by bending it both where both colors separete so it doesnt look like its one color and then the color right after... if you blend it right it will look like the dark color is just getting lighter and lighers... tend to put it darkest to lighter.... it looks really nice.... and beige/white or pink make a good contrast for dark colors... or a very light gray.... sooo to put it all the way to your eye brow... bend it in with a light color... best wishes!

First, I place a creme based primer (Mary Kay) then I put the lighter shadow on as a base, the darker color I apply as a creaser, lastly I blend the two colors very gently with the lighter shadow. You gotta make sure you're using authentic brushes. MAC has some nice pricey ones but are worth it. If you can get a brush set while Nordstrom or Macy's is having their yearly and half yearly sales it makes all the difference in the world!

I wouldn't will make your eye sockets look too dark and sunken in...
I usually opt for the darker colors down towards the eyelash line then a lighter shade towards the brow...
But hey if you find a color that looks good and is dark.. go for it!

You can put it on your forehead if you want to. But don't. Don't put it up to your brow, either.
