I'm doing a science activity on sugar gliders and their babies, but am confused about generations. The original two sugar gliders that I 'have' have two babies. Are their babies the 2nd generation or the 1st? Like, are the two originals the 1st generation or are they like generation 0 and their babies are the 1st? Please help!! Best answer gets 10 points ASAP

The parents are the P generation (P stands for something in Latin) and the babies are the F1 generation, or the first filial, or child generation. The next generation would be the F2, and so on.
