It depends on how many semesters you have taken already.
Do this:
(2(x) + GPA)/(x+1) = 2.5
Where x is the number of semesters you have already taken. So, plug that in and solve for GPA and that will give you the GPA you have to get this semester in order to raise your GPA to a 2.5

If you have an A its = to 4 points, B=3, C=2, D=1 and then you divide the a,b,c by the amount of clases your taking.
Example: A in English(4 pts), C in Science (2pts),
D in math(1pts)
4+2+1=7 points
3 is the amount of classes English, Science and Math.
7/3=2.3 GPA
catch my drift.

That all depends on how many hours your classes are worth. If they are all 3 hour classes, it will take longer to raise your GPA. However if they are all 5 hour classes, then excellent grades will raise it quicker. On the average, I would say you need a solid 3.5 - just a guess.

The trick it to get the best grades you can get. You have to try your hardest and whatever grade you get, it's the best you can do. Don't try to just do the minimum to get by, but rather do your best!

How many credits are each class worth? Also, how many credits do you have to date?
