In my case, it was the drummers. But I forgave them all when I started playing with a sax player - if you hate primadonnas, bloated egos, always the one same solo (lookit, lookit, I have learned Coltrane's scales!!!), then steer clear of anyone playing sax, even from purely personal, non-musical relations. But you have a point with girls like Pete Wentz, can't even play worth sh*t.

No... it has nothing to do with bass players..

What you have there is a "Drama Magnet"...

Look for a new bass player... not even a very talented player is worth that kind of crap!

Another joke:
Man on vacation on tropical island in the south pacific, hears drums playing one day deep in the jungle, asks the tour guide
"Why the constant drumming?"
The guide answers "Drums play good... drums stop bad.."
After days of hearing the drumming the man asks again
"What is the deal with the drums?"
Again the guide responds "Drums play good... drums stop bad"
After several more days the man notices the drumming stops.
He turns to the guide and says "What now, you said drums play good... drums stop bad?" the guide answers
"Bass solo"

Hahahaha

On the other hand, you have Brian Wilson

So no and yes.

Hope you can find someone more reliable, seems too self-centered to do well in this industry.
