Years ago when i was young and stupid yes but not now a i have grown up and am happily married. We do not flirt around or have net sex or anything like that. All i do on here is research , answer questions and check email and maybe play a pc game once in a while. We also have websites that we visit too. But no porn sites or anything like that. You can control yourself while being on the net. To me if you have not self control you should not even be on the net surfing around. We also will not by a video cam for the pc . If a guy even hits on me i tell him to back off as i am very happily married and they leave me alone after that. If they do not i block them anyways. you can protect yourself on here and not play into thist stuff and kind of garbage. As with anything it is all about the choices you make while being on line.

No way... If it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't even be in a relationship (met my husband on an online personals site). Also, Internet pays our bills and our mortgage (my husband is in the computer industry). So it's good all the way around.

Yes and no. It's a great way to keep in touch if you can't see each other on a daily basis. It's also a way to miscommunicate because you can't tell a person's tone of voice or meaning just from words. Some people find it a great place to meet others, or to meet partners, unfortunately sometimes those people are already in a "real" relationship. It's very easy to find what you're looking for on the internet because anybody can say anything and be anyone you want them to be. In real life, no one is that good.

Could you be more specific? It is difficult to answer without knowing what about the internet has negatively affected your relationship.

Yes, it takes our time away from each other and takes our finances away. It keeps my kid's faces stuck in their computers all the time. Because of the internet, my son is on xbox 360 live all the time. It just eats our time and money away. I know it's all my fault for letting it happen, but that is just the way life seems to be. You just keep up with the times and that's just what happens. I hate the way technology was supposed to give us more time and save us time, but it just eats away all our time. What are you gonna do? It's 2007! That's the way it is. I would love to get rid of it all, but I don't know how without a major fallout from my kids!!!

Kinda. My husband and I get mad at each other when the other one spends too much time on the internet and ignores the other one.

Dear T.R.C.

Sorry to her that, I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones. It has helped to enhance my relationships and to meet some others whom I would not have had the opportunity to meet, without it. Good luck in the future.
